The Sloop is the second smallest Merchant vessel and thus one of the fastest. It is also the smallest Merchant only vessel, as the skiff is often used for personal use. The Sloop, unlike the skiff is allowed to sport weaponry for self defence, much like any other larger Merchant vessel.
