Blacksmith is one of the many skills that Empires has to offer. Blacksmith is a warrior only skill that allows you to make equipment that gets better as your experience rises. In order to start a blacksmith project, one must right click an anvil while holding the material of the type of tools/armor they want to blacksmith (eg. wood plank for wood tools, leather for leather armor, leads, and saddles, or iron ingots for iron armor and tools). When blacksmithing you must have the resources in your inventory needed to craft the number of items you select (this will usually reflect the vanilla Minecraft recipe). Blacksmithing can only occur within the empire you are a part of, with the exception of nomads.

Blacksmiths and Nomads[]
Nomads now may earn blacksmith XP and blacksmith anywhere. If a player joins and empire and has a higher nomad blacksmith XP, they will use the higher of the two to determine which level they will blacksmith at. However, the XP will go to the empire. For example, if a nomad has a blacksmith level of 30, and the empire they join has a blacksmith level of 15, the player will be able to blacksmith items up to level 30. Once the empire becomes level 31, they will use the empire's blacksmith level. There is no way for a player to gain blacksmith XP for themselves personally unless they are a nomad (or a member of an OFFICIAL empire). Players lose the ability to blacksmith anywhere except in their empire when they lose nomad status.
